Harita Karma Sena is a social initiative that has brought about major changes in waste disposal practices. These are women's groups formed under the leadership of local self-government bodies in Kerala, particularly through the Kudumbashree Mission. This has been implemented with the aim of making the Gram Panchayat completely garbage free.
