Thachanattukara Grama Panchayat – Warning Notice

Notice under Section 238 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act

Trees standing in dangerous conditions on private properties may fall during heavy rains and cause danger to the life and property of people. Therefore, the owners of such trees are hereby directed to cut, remove, or trim the trees at their own cost and responsibility in advance to avoid possible accidents and hazards.

It is further informed that if such dangerous trees are not removed, the owner of the trees alone shall be held responsible for any loss or damage caused, as per Section 30(2)(V) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
